Yesterday, I had the privilege of viewing the most astonishing, historical event of my lifetime. For the first time in years, I felt proud to be an American. President Obama has not only inspired the World but has rung in a new era of hope. I thought of John Lennon and wished that he was alive today to see this incredible event. "Imagine all the people" and MLK, "I have a dream". If only we could break the barriers of hatred, bigotry, and greed. If only now, we can begin to mend the wounds that time has left behind. Let us all see that there is no real purpose in not honoring all life on this planet. We are all part of it and it is our duty to see that we continue to support President Obama and his intentions. Community service, kindness, compassion, being in the now, respect for our planet, animals, people, and all life. Doing everything we can to make it our part. I have to admit that I am ashamed that there are people like Rush Limbaugh out there who on the day of inauguration states "I hope he fails". Rush, you are welcome to go live in another Country if anyone if willing to have you. Maybe you could ask your God for forgiveness for being so hateful? It is time for change and to embrace love in our hearts.
